About This FAQ

This is the questions-actually-asked version, not the questions-we-wish-were-asked version. If something is missing, the contact page is the fastest way to flag it; useful questions get added here.

Getting Started

What is YoyoArena?

A free browser gaming platform with a library of twelve arcade and puzzle games from a network of partner providers, plus an optional cash rewards program funded by a revenue share with those providers. Everything runs in a browser — no downloads, no installs, no plugins. The games are free to play end-to-end.

How do I sign up?

Head to the sign-up page and register with an email or Google account. A verification email confirms the address. The whole process takes about two minutes and does not require any payment information.

Is it free?

Yes. Registration is free, every game in the library is free, and the rewards program itself is free to participate in (the platform does not charge withdrawal fees). No premium tier, no subscription, no microtransactions. Any story suggesting otherwise is wrong.

What devices work?

Any device with a modern browser: desktop, laptop, tablet, phone. All games are designed mobile-first but also run on laptops. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Brave are all supported.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Nothing to install, no app store route, no plugin. This is a core platform decision, not a temporary constraint.

Rewarded Sessions and Gameplay

How does the rewarded session work?

When you open the dashboard, a rewarded session is available for you if you have not already played one recently. Each session has a specific objective from the assigned game (score, survival time, or milestone). Completing the objective adds a payout to your balance.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing breaks. The next rewarded session becomes available after the cooldown elapses, regardless of how long you have been away. Your accrued balance stays where it was.

Do some games pay out more than others?

Roughly equivalent. The per-session payout depends mostly on the provider-revenue context, not which game is featured. Score normalisation across games keeps the rewards model fair across genres.

When does the next rewarded session become available?

After a short cooldown following the last completed session. The dashboard shows a countdown when one is not yet available.

How long is a typical session?

Most sessions resolve in five to fifteen minutes. Longer sessions do not unlock additional payouts; they just mean more rounds of the same game.

Rewards Program

What is the rewards program?

Consistent play accrues a cash balance on the dashboard. The balance is funded by YoyoArena's revenue share from a network of third-party game providers whose games run on the platform — the providers monetize their games through their own in-game advertiser networks, and a portion of that revenue flows back to engaged players via this program. Withdrawals become available once the balance clears the minimum threshold shown on the earnings page. The program is optional.

Are payouts real money?

Yes. Payouts accrue as a cash balance on the dashboard and are withdrawable once that balance clears the threshold. They are not transferable between accounts and are tied to the YoyoArena account that earned them. They are real money in the sense that they are withdrawable to a payment method of your choice; they are not income, not a wage, not a job, and not a substitute for paid work. The amounts are modest and depend on how much you play.

How can I withdraw my balance?

From the earnings page on your dashboard, once the balance clears the minimum threshold. The available payout methods are listed on the page at withdrawal time and may change based on regional availability of payment processors. YoyoArena passes the request to the payment processor; the processor then delivers the funds via the selected method.

What is the minimum withdrawal threshold?

Currently $10, shown on the earnings page inside the dashboard. It is set deliberately low so new players can reach their first withdrawal within the first week or two of consistent play, but high enough to keep withdrawal-processing overhead reasonable.

Is there a fee to withdraw?

No. YoyoArena does not charge withdrawal fees. Some payment processors may apply their own per-transaction fees, which are displayed on the earnings page before a withdrawal is confirmed.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Most withdrawals settle within minutes to a business day, depending on the payment processor selected. The exact window is shown on the earnings page before a withdrawal is confirmed.

Will the program always exist?

It is planned to continue, but the withdrawal threshold, per-session payout rates, and available payout methods can change over time based on the Provider Network's terms and platform economics. The rewards program is a thank-you, not a contract.

Security and Privacy

Is my data safe?

Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm, sessions are managed via secure JWT cookies, and personal information is not sold to third parties. The privacy policy has the specifics.

Can I use a display name?

Yes. Your display name on the platform can be whatever you like. No real-name requirement for gameplay or the rewards program.

What if I forget my password?

Use the forgot password flow. A reset link arrives by email and expires after one hour.

Does the platform use cookies?

Yes, for essential functions (keeping you logged in) and for aggregated analytics. There is no cross-site tracking beyond standard analytics.

Fair Play

Can I run multiple accounts?

No. One person, one account. Multiple-account violations are detected and result in suspension. The rule exists because the rewards program needs to treat each person as one player.

What counts as cheating?

Bots, scripts, browser exploits, or any automated input. Score manipulation via client-side modification. Any mechanism that bypasses server-side validation. Playing the games with your hands, as intended, is not cheating.

What happens to confirmed cheaters?

Permanent account removal and forfeiture of accrued balance. The policy is strict because the integrity of the rewards program matters more than any individual account.

Are games rigged in any way?

No. Scores are validated server-side, but the games themselves are not manipulated. Your score depends on your play. There is no reason to rig them — the platform's business model favours engaged players, not winners.

Technical

A game is running slowly. What can I do?

Close other browser tabs, check your internet connection, try a different browser, or try a laptop instead of a phone. If the issue persists on a specific game, report it via the contact page.

Can I play offline?

No. Games load from the server and scores are validated server-side, so an internet connection is required.

Does the platform work on older phones?

Phones from roughly the last four or five years that run a current Chrome or Safari should be fine. Older devices with outdated browsers may struggle on 3D titles specifically.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

The contact page is the right channel. Including the device, browser, and a description of what you were doing makes bugs much faster to diagnose.

About the Platform

How is YoyoArena funded?

Standard display advertising. Ads are shown to visitors on the site, and the revenue covers infrastructure, development, and the rewards program. The player never pays.

Is there any crypto or NFT involvement?

No. No tokens, no blockchain, no NFTs, no wallets. This is a deliberate design choice to keep the platform accessible and simple.

Who builds and runs the platform?

A small independent team. No corporate structure, no investors, no parent company. Decisions are made by a handful of people who use the platform themselves.

Are new games coming?

Yes, steadily. The library grows slowly on purpose: every new title passes the same internal quality bar before it ships, which means growth is measured rather than rapid.
