Getting Started
What is YoyoArena?
A free browser gaming platform with a library of twelve original arcade and puzzle games, a daily challenge system, and an optional loyalty-rewards program. Everything runs in a browser — no downloads, no installs, no plugins. The platform is funded by standard display advertising to visitors and is free end-to-end for the player.
How do I sign up?
Head to the sign-up page and register with an email or Google account. A verification email confirms the address. The whole process takes about two minutes and does not require any payment information.
Is it free?
Yes. Registration is free, every game in the library is free, and the loyalty-rewards redemption is free. No premium tier, no subscription, no microtransactions. Any story suggesting otherwise is wrong.
What devices work?
Any device with a modern browser: desktop, laptop, tablet, phone. All games are designed mobile-first but also run on laptops. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Brave are all supported.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Nothing to install, no app store route, no plugin. This is a core platform decision, not a temporary constraint.
Daily Challenges and Gameplay
How does the daily challenge work?
Every 24 hours, one game from the library is featured on the dashboard as the daily challenge. Each challenge has a specific objective (score, survival time, or milestone). Completing the objective advances your streak counter and adds a small loyalty credit allocation to your balance.
What if I miss a day?
Challenges stack up to three pending slots. Miss Monday and Tuesday; Wednesday shows three challenges. The cap is three, not three days. Disappear for a week and you return to three pending. The streak counter resets on a missed day, but accrued balance does not.
Do some games award more credits than others?
No. Credit allocation depends on the challenge tier and your streak multiplier, not which game is featured. Score normalisation across games means a puzzle challenge and an arcade challenge credit equivalently at the same performance tier.
When does the daily challenge refresh?
Midnight UTC. The dashboard shows the countdown to the next refresh.
How long is a typical session?
Most challenges resolve in five to fifteen minutes. Longer sessions do not unlock additional scoring; they just mean more rounds of the same game.
Loyalty Rewards
What is the loyalty-rewards program?
Consistent play accrues a small balance of loyalty credits. Credits can be redeemed for gift card perks from third-party providers once the balance clears a minimum threshold shown on the rewards page. The program is optional and modest by design.
Are loyalty credits real money?
No. Loyalty credits have no cash value, do not convert to currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They redeem for gift card perks only, and only within the platform's redemption flow.
What kinds of perks are available?
Gift cards across three broad categories: retail and shopping, streaming and entertainment subscriptions, and gaming storefronts. Availability varies by region and rotates with provider supply. The player's guide has the current shape of categories.
What is the minimum redemption threshold?
Shown on the rewards page inside the dashboard, because it depends on the specific perk chosen. It is set deliberately low so new players can reach a first redemption within the first week or two of daily play.
Is there a fee to redeem?
No. YoyoArena does not charge redemption fees. Gift card providers have their own terms, which are displayed before a redemption is confirmed.
How long does redemption take?
Most gift cards arrive by email within minutes. A few providers take up to a business day. The exact window is shown on each perk before confirmation.
Will the program always exist?
It is planned to continue, but availability of specific perks, thresholds, and credit allocation rates can change over time based on ad revenue and provider supply. The loyalty program is a thank-you, not a contract.
Security and Privacy
Is my data safe?
Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm, sessions are managed via secure JWT cookies, and personal information is not sold to third parties. The privacy policy has the specifics.
Can I use a display name?
Yes. Your display name on the platform can be whatever you like. No real-name requirement for gameplay, leaderboards, or the loyalty program.
What if I forget my password?
Use the forgot password flow. A reset link arrives by email and expires after one hour.
Does the platform use cookies?
Yes, for essential functions (keeping you logged in) and for aggregated analytics. There is no cross-site tracking beyond standard analytics.
Fair Play
Can I run multiple accounts?
No. One person, one account. Multiple-account violations are detected and result in suspension. The rule exists because leaderboards and loyalty allocations need to treat each person as one player.
What counts as cheating?
Bots, scripts, browser exploits, or any automated input. Score manipulation via client-side modification. Any mechanism that bypasses server-side validation. Playing the games with your hands, as intended, is not cheating.
What happens to confirmed cheaters?
Permanent account removal and forfeiture of accrued loyalty credits. The policy is strict because leaderboard integrity matters more than any individual account.
Are games rigged in any way?
No. Scores are validated server-side, but the games themselves are not manipulated. Your score depends on your play. There is no reason to rig them — the platform's business model favours engaged players, not winners.
Technical
A game is running slowly. What can I do?
Close other browser tabs, check your internet connection, try a different browser, or try a laptop instead of a phone. If the issue persists on a specific game, report it via the contact page.
Can I play offline?
No. Games load from the server and scores are validated server-side, so an internet connection is required.
Does the platform work on older phones?
Phones from roughly the last four or five years that run a current Chrome or Safari should be fine. Older devices with outdated browsers may struggle on 3D titles specifically.
I found a bug. Where do I report it?
The contact page is the right channel. Including the device, browser, and a description of what you were doing makes bugs much faster to diagnose.
About the Platform
How is YoyoArena funded?
Standard display advertising. Ads are shown to visitors on the site, and the revenue covers infrastructure, development, and the loyalty-rewards program. The player never pays.
Is there any crypto or NFT involvement?
No. No tokens, no blockchain, no NFTs, no wallets. This is a deliberate design choice to keep the platform accessible and simple.
Who builds and runs the platform?
A small independent team. No corporate structure, no investors, no parent company. Decisions are made by a handful of people who use the platform themselves.
Are new games coming?
Yes, steadily. The library grows slowly on purpose: every new title passes the same internal quality bar before it ships, which means growth is measured rather than rapid.
